Trump and His Campaign Manager’s Ties to Russia Should Worry Everybody August 17, 2016

Enough already folks!  What will it take for Americans to wake up and smell the coffee.  In this case, the questions about Donald J. Trump, his campaign manager Paul Manafort and his business associate Rick Gates being tied to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin?  There is so much evidence out that that no one can deny that something isn’t fishy about their relationship with Putin.

Today we hear the latest scoop and maybe the worst so far, by the Associate Press.  AP Sources: Manafort tied to undisclosed foreign lobbying.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump’s campaign chairman helped a pro-Russian governing party in Ukraine secretly route at least $2.2 million in payments to two prominent Washington lobbying firms in 2012, and did so in a way that effectively obscured the foreign political party’s efforts to influence U.S. policy.”

“Under federal law, U.S. lobbyists must declare publicly if they represent foreign leaders or their political parties and provide detailed reports about their actions to the Justice Department. A violation is a felony and can result in up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.”

We also hear today that Trump shook up his campaign by hiring two new strategists and implying that he’s demoting Manafort.  However, he is still on the payroll as Trump’s campaign manager.  One can only assume it’s because of the two latest stories about Manafort.  Yes TWO.

The New York Times reported the following on Sunday: Secret Ledger in Ukraine Lists Cash for Donald Trump’s Campaign Chief

“Handwritten ledgers show $12.7 million in undisclosed cash payments designated for Mr. Manafort from Mr. Yanukovych’s pro-Russian political party from 2007 to 2012, according to Ukraine’s newly formed National Anti-Corruption Bureau. Investigators assert that the disbursements were part of an illegal off-the-books system whose recipients also included election officials.”

Paul Manafort has denied receiving any “cash” payments.  He doesn’t however, nor is he asked, respond to the question if he has received any wire transfers or physical checks from Russia.

To top off these highly questionable connections with Russia by his campaign manager and business associate, Trump himself has been speaking in support of Vladimir Putin this past year.

When emails were leaked by hackers tied to Russian government from the Democrats email system, Trump, looking directly toward the TV camera, ask Putin to keep on hacking America’s systems to find more emails.  He later claimed to have been joking.

When asked about Ukraine by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week.”, Trump stands up for Putin:

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump said Sunday that Russian President Vladimir Putin won’t make a military move into Ukraine — even though Putin already has done just that, seizing the country’s Crimean Peninsula.

“He’s not going into Ukraine, OK, just so you understand. He’s not going to go into Ukraine, all right? You can mark it down. You can put it down. You can take it anywhere you want,”
Trump once again tried to change his comments via tweets later.
We also heard this story about Manafort: Trump Campaign Chair misquotes Russian Media in bogus claim about NATO base Terrorist Attack.  I’ll let you read that story but it appears that Manafort read and believed Russia’s news story and tried to repeat it.
And don’t forget the story where Trump supports walking away from NATA unless conditions are met:  Donald Trump Sets Conditions for Defending NATO Allies Against Attack.

“Asked about Russia’s threatening activities, which have unnerved the small Baltic States that are among the more recent entrants into NATO, Mr. Trump said that if Russia attacked them, he would decide whether to come to their aid only after reviewing if those nations have “fulfilled their obligations to us.”

“If they fulfill their obligations to us,” he added, “the answer is yes.”

Mr. Trump’s statement appeared to be the first time that a major candidate for president had suggested conditioning the United States’ defense of its major allies.”

Look at all this evidence folks, Trump even bragged about Putin liking him during the Miss America pageant.

Trump also refuses to release his taxes, claims they are under audit, however IRS says there is no reason not to release your returns while under an audit.  Why should we care about his taxes?  For one huge reason.  Trump claims he never invested in Russia, however he won’t say whether or not Russia invested in him.  Has Russia loaned Trump money?  Have they invested in his businesses?  Do they have something on Trump to make him speak for them?  Another reason to release his taxes is to show that he’s paid no taxes since back in the early 70’s, which might tell you who he will protect when working on tax reform.  Besides the fact that every presidential candidate has released their tax returns for decades.  What is he hiding?

The Republicans and some Democrats are so concerned about Hillary Clinton’s emails and who “may” have seen them (even though we now know NONE were classified at the time of them being sent).  Hillary’s email and Benghazi so-called scandals have been investigated by the FBI, the State Department and Congress using thousands of dollars and hundreds of investigators for nearly 2 years now, with her testifying for over 11 hours straight, yet nothing has been found to indict her for any wrong doing.  She’s admitted to making a mistake (for something previous Sec of States have done as well and weren’t investigated) and has said she was sorry.

Admitting a mistake is something Donald Trump has refused to do since day one.  He’s been caught lying so many times to Americans yet they seem to ignore those lies. He’s been convicted of crimes and filed bankrupt 6 times killing hundred’s of employee’s jobs doing so.  He’s refused to pay his contractors and hired mostly foreign workers to make his products.  He’s said he will make our troops commit war crimes and he will disobey our Constitution by kicking out American’s by a religious test.  Now we are hearing these proven stories about his own comments supporting an enemy called Russia and his own people working for that same enemy for money.  What will it take for Americans to say enough?  Remove this man from our political system along with arresting his manager for federal crimes.

This same man wants to allow Japan and other nations to have their own nuclear weapons and sounded as though he is hoping to use one if he becomes President by repeatedly asking this question, ““If we have them, why can’t we use them?”

My fellow Americans, shouldn’t we be more concerned that a foreign country, especially Russia, is possibly controlling our political leaders and possibly in control of our future President of U.S. (if enough of you foolishly vote for him)?
