Hello Coonsey, My name is Alexandra Di Trolio and I was looking to contact you about being a guest for a radio show. I work for a show called “The Blog Bunker” on Indie Talk, Channel 110 on Sirius Satellite Radio. After my responding by asking, ‘why me?’, Alexandra wrote back – to summarize…

She did a search on Cuil.com.  She was looking for liberal blogs and found me.  She thought my site would be a great fit for their show.  She said I seem to be interested and informed in a number of political issues and she appreciated my honesty in the “About” section where I say that I am no expert but try to find the truth and report it.  She said many blogs don’t seem concerned with truth or fact but that only want to push their ideals and opinions without checking out the facts they are using to back their argument.

Unfortunately, I cannot risk trying to do an interview – live – over the telephone, because I have difficulty hearing (to be honest, I’m also not the best debater either).  So I asked her if they could pre-record the show so that any mistakes or time lapses could be edited out.  She responded by saying that it would be too difficult to do that at this point, time wise and studio space wise.

So folks, while I would love to do this interview/debate, it appears that at this time – it can’t happen.  I told her to contact me again if they ever get setup for pre-recording shows.  She implied that If they are ever able to prerecord interviews she would call me back. 

So, who knows, maybe someday you’ll be able to hear my voice and opinions online.
