Have you seen the commercial by American Family Insurance? They even have it on their website. It shows insurance agents carrying a car through the rain on the street?

It shows them helping a teenager who is busy talking avoid a car wreck and another person avoid being hit by a train.

This is the kind of commercial that should be immediately removed from television. It’s implying that if you buy their product they will keep your child safer while driving. That’s a LIE….plain an simple.

Sometimes I like him, sometimes I don’t. He seemed to kiss Bush/Cheney’s behinds too much for my liking. They all did for that matter. I am very disappointed in the Dem party of late. Yet they are the only game in town that come CLOSE to what I care for.

Since we don’t make anything here anymore, I find it sad that the one of the ways we can tell if the ecomony is getting better is by how much Americans spend. If you ask me, we all own way too much junk with no where to put it.

It only took the Repubs 30 years to destroy what the WWII generation built up after the war. Totally disgusting!

Medical retirement monthly amount doesnt amount to much-roughly 650 a month after taxes and health insurance which i have to maintain because I still have two teenagers I have to have covered per my divorce agreement . So if I applied for SSI with two dependents,would SSI be more than my medical retirement?? Thanks.

SSI is for somebody that is completely broke — at least that’s what I’ve always read. You appear to have a pension as well as VA comp — in your eyes and mine, you may consider yourself broke but to the government…you are well off.

I am 100% disabled vet receiving VA compensation and also medically retired from Dept of Def receiving retiree pay. Am I also eligible for Soc Sec SSI? woul any pay i receive from ssi be offset by my dod retirement? should I apply for ssi or wait till i reach age 65??

To be honest, I worked ‘daily’ to bring down Bush as well, but I never lied doing it or made up stories to do it. Unfortunately, the media ignored the facts about Bush and JUMPS on everything untrue about Obama. That’s my point — LIBERAL MEDIA?

As most of us know, the media is run by corporate boards that are not liberal. I go back and forth with a Tennessee rightie who went nuts over Obama being respectful. I find myself having no patience with righties. They work daily to bring down Obama no matter what he says or does. Since the media is not liberal we will get the right wing spin on this as usual.
